About

Jennifer Huntington is a self-taught jeweler who creates sterling silver pieces that carry a sense of place, history, and personal connection. Her work centers on gems, minerals, and fossils gathered over time, often collected during her own travels and adventures or shared with her by others. Many stones are carefully cabbed by hand in her studio. She works with materials such as quartz, green and red garnets, opal, agate, shark’s teeth, fragments of shipwreck treasure, and she has a particular love for working with agatized dinosaur bone. Her work allows for each element’s natural character to guide the design.

Having lived across the country before settling in southern Utah, she draws deep inspiration from the landscapes that have shaped her, especially the textures, colors, and quiet expansiveness of the desert. Her jewelry reflects influences from Native American craftsmanship and ancient adornment, honoring traditions where jewelry serves as both storytelling and identity. Each piece is handcrafted with intention, embracing natural imperfections and transforming raw materials into wearable objects that connect the wearer to memory, earth, and time.
